It's been a little over a week since FIND ME WHERE THE WATER ENDS came out. Can you believe it? I can't. It is very surreal to have the series be, well, over. But at the same time I'm soooo happy to share the final chapter with everyone - now I can finally talk about everything. Like, what was up with Wes, what happens to the Montauk Project, does Lydia get a happy ending, etc.
Speaking of which, if anyone has ANY Lydia/Wes/Montauk/Book 3 questions, please send them my way. Email me (email@example.com), tweet me (@rachelcarterya), comment on this post, send carrier pigeons, WHATEVER. If I get enough questions, I'll make a whole post about it, but I promise to answer you no matter what.
I want to do a little round-up of everything I've been up to lately & also to FINALLY post the winners of my giveaway from last week. Right now I'm in the middle of the woods with limited wi-fi, so I've been pretty lax about contacting winners. But they exist and I'm sending out emails RIGHT NOW. If I don't get answers/they live in Siberia then I'll pick new ones until I have officially given away 5 books.
Here they are, the winners of signed copies of FIND ME WHERE THE WATER ENDS:
* Hannah M
* Yvonne J
* Katherine I
* Maggie D
* James K
Congrats to all, and if you didn't win then sit tight - I have like 30 copies of this book so I will be doing plenty more giveaways. Also, there are a few places to win the book on the web right now: BookTrib & the lovely Dianne at Oops! I Read a Book Again are also both doing giveaways.
Speaking of BookTrib, not only do I write a bunch of articles for them on the regular, but I did a Live Chat this week & it was SO FUN. Also, I was on the Huffington Post Live talking YA a few weeks ago, so check that out too. Right now I'm on vacation (& kind of going nuts trying to work on a new project!), but if you're in the Burlington, VT, area on July 29th, then come see me at the Essex Library at 6:30!
I think that's it for now. Thanks to everyone who has reached out to me about the series - I love your feedback, I love your enthusiasm, and I am just all around grateful for all of you. xoxo
